UNH Downs NU: Improves Hockey East Record to 3-2-0



UNH won it's 4th game in a row downing Northeastern 3-0. Junior goalie Casey DeSmith registered his 7th shutout as a Wildcat. A red-hot Nick Sorkin scored the game-winning goal just over 4 minutes into the first period. It was Sorkin's 6th goal of the season.

Senior Jeff Silengo's short-handed goal in the second period was a snipe:



Sophomore Kyle Smith put the game out of reach in the third on a pretty feed from Trevor van Riemsdyk:

The Wildcats' overall record improved to the .500 mark: 5-5-1.

The two teams play their final matchup of the regular season tomorrow night at the Whittemore Center in Durham, NH.
