Last week, 6'6" Adam Clark of the Salmon Arm SilverBacks extended his winning streak to three in a row and showed why he is one of the elite goalies in the British Columbia Hockey League. On Friday night, the Chilliwack Chiefs, who have the 4th highest points in the BCHL, visited Salmon Arm. Clark turned aside 25 out of the 26 shots he faced as the SilverBacks defeated the Chiefs 3-1. He was awarded the #3 Star of the Game.

The following night, the SilverBacks travelled to Vernon to face their divisional rivals. Salmon Arm came away with another 3-1 victory. This time, Adam Clark made 34 saves. In 28 complete games so far this season, Clark has made 30 or more saves in 21 of them.

Adam Clark's save percentage has improved to .928 which places him in a tie for 3rd among all BCHL goalies. His 2.46 goals against average is the 7th best in the league. Last season, Clark posted a .885 save percentage and 4.33 goals against. That level of improvement in his second season in the BCHL has earned Clark recognition by NHL scouts. Clark has made his way onto the NHL Central Scouting Service "Midterm Rankings". He is currently ranked #32 among all North American goalies.

Adam Clark is on target to enroll at UNH in the fall of 2014. If all goes according to plan, Clark will be a freshman during Casey DeSmith's senior season. DeSmith currently has the best GAA and Save% in Hockey East.
