Future 'Cat, Ansel Ivens-Anderson

Two more skaters have committed to the University of New Hampshire Men's Hockey Team in the month of May beginning with former New Hampshire Jr Monarch and more recently of the New Jersey Hitmen, Future 'Cat, Ansel Ivens-Anderson.

At 6'1", 190 lbs the 19 year old finished his final Eastern Junior Hockey League season as the 14th leading scorer in the league with 21 goals and 34 assists through 45 games and added six points in seven playoff games for the Hitmen. A big upside for our Wildcats will be the addition of Ivens-Anderson's league leading 14 powerplay goals - a clear point of weakness in this past season's team.

Ansel's New Jersey Hitmen won this year's EJHL Tournament after finishing just behind the Monarchs for the league's best regular season record. In the process Ansel was an EJHL Player of the Week in January, an EJHL All-Star and comes with bona fides from his coaches.

Welcome to Wildcat Nation, Ansel!

Coming up later this week will I'll introduce you to Ansel's fellow 2009 Future 'Cat, Austin Block.

Go 'Cats!
