Say It Isn't So

It appears that Darren Haydar may seek future fortune and fame in Switzerland in the continuation of his great professional hockey career.

From the blog, Brochu is Hockey - Rumours, Speculation, Trades:
There are rumours that Darren Haydar will leave the Atlanta Thrashers organization next year and sign with Ambri Piotta in Switzerland.

Check here if you're curious as to the background of Ambri-Piotta and Canton Ticino.

This site appears to be the source of this now persistent rumor.

He would see some familiar faces on the other side of the ice. None-other than Mark Mowers playing for Bern along with former teammate from his Milwaukee Admiral days, Simon Gamache.

Of course, Wildcat Nation wishes you luck & success wherever you go!

Go 'Cats!
