HOOOOOOOWWWWLLLLLLLLLLL!!!

The Captain, Darren Haydar, makes his triumphant return to the Chicago Wolves alongside fellow Wildcat Jason Krog and they each put up two goals with Krog edging Haydar by one assist having gathered three helpers on the night. But Darren received the first star of the night from the league as he collected his 400th career AHL point.

The Wolves put up a total of seven goals (that's 17 in their last two games) and skated away with a seven to four victory over the Peoria Rivermen.

With his five point night Jason captured the first star of the game and a share of the league lead in points. Darren of course is just beginning his bid to capture his second straight AHL scoring title with four points in just his first game back, which was good enough for the second star tonight, and of course ultimately hopes to force the hand of Atlanta leadership to bring him back up to the NHL and hopefully bring along his line-mates Jason Krog and Brett Sterling who tied for the league lead in goals with his 16th and 17th tonight in just 20 games. Uh, yeah, that's right, this line essentially combined for 6 of the seven goals on the night.

I can't wait to see some more! You can catch the highlights on the Chicago Wolves Homepage - but they're not up yet.

What I really want to see is what these three can do together in Atlanta!

Until then,

Go Wolves!

and

Go 'Cats!
