According to the title-linked NHL news article hockey has become 'cool' in the hot climate of Thailand of all places.

Hey I love hockey, I love spicy food - REALLY SPICY (everyone should try my salsa), and I even like Muay Thai - actually training Muay Thai, not just watching. The world must truly be getting smaller when some guy sitting in New Hampshire shares so many interests as someone on the other side of the globe.
