Happy Anniversary... To TUMHB!

One year ago today I launched the mere concept of this place as a leap pad to a more permanent and better written UNH Men's Hockey blog - and somehow I'm still here!

The last year has seen ever increasing loads of visitors and an ever increasing amount of my time poured out here at The UNH Men's Hockey Blog - it is truly a labor of love with a more than one post per day average for the first year.

The past month saw well over 100 visitors per day and more than twice that number in the times the page was viewed during the day. The totals combined for the busiest month here at more than 3,500 visits and more than 5,500 page views with stat totals for the first year at more than 20,000 visits and over 32,000 page views!

The Wildcat Nation Frappr Map currently stands at 3778 members! Outstanding!

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to make this place what it is today and here's to the year ahead and many more!

Cheers!

The news of the day: Two Former Wildcats Selected to the United States Men's Select Team to play in the 2007 Deutschland Cup Tournament.

Eric Nickulas and Steve Saviano were selected to the team for their excellence of play and perhaps their familiarity with the European game and region. This year's Deutschland Cup is being held in Hannover, Germany which is where Wildcat, Eric Nickulas, plays his professional hockey for the home team Hannover Scorpions where he has 37 points in 65 games played over this season and last. Steve Saviano has played his European hockey a bit north of there, first in Sweden and now Finland, where he has a total of 26 points in 44 games.
