1 ECHL Game - 4 Wildcats: D Wins!

Chris Murray returned to action last night alongside fellow Wildcat Brian Yandle on the blueline of the Phoenix Roadrunners and they kept fellow Wildcats Josh Ciocco and Brett Hemingway scoreless as the Roadrunners edged out their Fresno Falcons by a score of 3-2.

Yandle was the only one of the four to score points on the night, a two assist game for Brian. That accounts for five points, a two goal and three assist scoring line, in his last two games making Wildcat Nation proud. Brian had been quoted recently as saying that his goal is to join his brother, Keith, in the NHL as they are both entrenched in the Phoenix Coyote organization along with Wildcat, Daniel Winnik. Add to that the fact that Chris Murray is making a strong case for himself it's possible that we could see as many three Wildcats joining Wayne Gretzky's squad.

UNH is a great team and its good to see their players making it in the pros. They've always given me fits being a BU fan :-). Still need to beat UNH in our new house.

And we all know BU has no shortage of players that have played professionally and successfully.

As a matter of fact the above game was largely decided by one Justin Maiser, as you may or may not be aware of. He had the first and last goal for the Roadrunners and nabbed First Star honors above our own Brian Yandle who garnered the Second Star of the game.

Thanks for stopping by!
