Where's The Scoring?
So much for the new NHL.
Last night saw the match-up between Daniel Winnik (Phoenix Coyotes) and Mark Mowers (Anaheim Ducks) come down to just one goal that saw Daniel a +1 and Mark a -1, and the Coyotes win 1-0.
The Bruins game was fairly settled by former college hockey players that attended rival schools. Jonathan Toews (North Dakota) scored between Phil Kessel (Minnesota - whose brother Blake is due in Durham next year) goals and that would be enough with an insurance goal by Glen Metropolit.
The average total goals per game was 4.3 - I'm expecting that this year's 'Cats will average better than that!
Go 'Cats!
