HHM *Late Addition*

Happy Hockey Monday!

Well, the puck is gliding and our men are off to a great start. There is not a lot to go over that I haven't already discussed, if you haven't been around this weekend feel free to peruse the last few posts. I've been updating stats from this side of the pond this morning and will update stats from the other side of the pond later today or tomorrow.

I'm still awaiting the highlight video of what, by all accounts, was a fantastic goal scored by freshman, James vanRiemsdyk. As a matter of fact in the words of Coach Umile it was "sick".

So, this coming weekend it will be time for our boys in Blue and White to go to work against the Tigers of Colorado College starting on Friday night. It should be a great weekend of hockey with the Tigers looking to avenge last year's sweep by our 'Cats in Colorado Springs. Look for our 'Cats to defend their territory with all they've got and improve upon any of the shortcomings revealed by this season's inaugural game against BU - mainly penalties and special teams.

*Seems like the BU blogger agrees about the game and points to this Daily Free Press article that talks about James vanRiemsdyk.

The games will be on NHPTV. Be sure to get on over to the NHPTV website. You can use the links here or go to NHPTV.org and donate. The games are webcast and broadcast and are only available by the generosity of your support for your Public Broadcast System and especially New Hampshire Public Television.

Have a great week and check back often for all of your UNH Men's Wildcat Hockey stats, stories and news.

Go 'Cats!
