'Cats A Plenty

Future 'Cats:

Blake Kessel and the Waterloo Blackhawks took on Mike Borisenok and the Green Bay Gamblers last night. Future 'Cat, Matt DiGirolamo had the night off for the Blackhawks and the Gamblers took advantage of goalie Joe Howe scoring three goals on twenty-seven shots with a helper on one of them coming from Mike himself giving him a three game point streak for two goals and that assist in seven games. Blake had an off night that left him a -2 after sixty minutes.

In other Future 'Cat news, both Kevin McCarey and Greg Burke are on the initial watch list of the Central Scouting Service for the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

Jacob Micflikier had an assist as his Stockton Thunder skated to a 4-0 shutout over Brian Yandle and the Phoenix Roadrunners who were without standout rookie Chris Murray.

Kevin Truelson once again laced up for the Bakersfield Condors but they would fall in the shootout to the Alaska Aces who got a shootout goal from Josh Soares(Maine).

Trevor Smith is still pointless in four games with the Sound Tigers who lost 3-4 to the Lowell Devils.

Garrett Stafford was held pointless last night but managed an impressive eight shots on net.

Jason Krog picked up a late assist on a goal that sent the game into overtime where Jason would win the game in the second round of the shootout.

Stats for the Pro 'Cats and Future 'Cats can be found in the right-hand column here just scroll down a little bit.

Also check back later today for an interest piece for this weekend's match-up with Colorado College.
