Future 'Cat Stories

USHR jumps in to announce that UNH has landed Danny Vranek a 5'6" 160lbs left winger for the fall of '07. He has been playing out of Eden Prairie High School, Minnesota but hails from Tampa, Florida. Reportedly started as a roller hockey player and made the transition to ice - I'll say, co-captain of his team and a scoring line of 29 goals, 23 assists for 52 points in 24 games! Congratulations on the nice season!

Welcome to Wildcat Nation Dan!

In other USHR news they report that James vanRiemsdyk has lifted the US U-18 Team to the gold medal game at the World Junior Championships, turning the tables and defeating Canada in the shootout. James scored the shootout, game-winning goal, sweet revenge I'm sure, after having scored the game-tying goal just 1:36 into the third period.

Go USA!
