It's SHOWTIME!

Shining the spotlight on Greg "Showtime" Burke. A Lee, NH native and due to walk through the Whittemore Center doors in the Blue and White for the first time in '08. He took matters into his own hands yesterday popping in two goals in the first period, one coming on the powerplay. Having seen him play I fully expect that this is just the beginning for Burke who's coming to UNH with fellow recruit and current teammate (who assisted on his first goal) Paul Thompson (Derry, NH), whose numbers speak for themselves. Burke has 3g, 4a in 17 games and his 3g have come in the last three games as well as an assist. It seems like quite a time to be a UNH Hockey Fan.

You can see the EJHL scoring leaders, led by Paul Thompson(!), by clicking on the title of this post. You'll notice their teammate Matthew Germain just a little behind Thompson, yet another guy I wouldn't mind seeing in the Blue & White. Get out and see the Jr. Monarchs if you can, and wear your Blue and White!

Go 'Cats!
